I don't vote. Even if I believed in the political theater and illusion of choice, voting in my state would be pointless. They even admit this every election, focusing only on "swing states" that aren't polarized with a vast majority hypnotized by a given party.

also the same year i QUIT reading or listening to news. if i see any news channels or politcal commentary channels in my YT feed i immediately mark those channels to stop being reccommended for my own sanity

I have been thinking a bit about this Trump and maga thing , why is it taking up big air time on TV and news, and why normal citizen have been stuck with conversation that's basically pick up the shovel and do what they are told.

TV has been talking about all kinds of things, keeping language as a functional tool and wired into the head of people. but the conversation that lower class really can have is surely limited. and sometimes very disturbing and abusive.

Long term that will be dealt with through closing the border, the other sources of debt are temporary and can be managed, bringing in people is permanent. Without a hyper majority and a king in a democracy you cannot unpork the system.
