Whales could help us communicate with Aliens

As the title said.

According to the SETI Institute. Humpback Whales and them blowing bubble rings, could help us learn about non-human intelligence and even communicate with aliens.

"A team of scientists from the SETI Institute and the University of California at Davis documented, for the first time, humpback whales producing large bubble rings, like a human smoker blowing smoke rings, during friendly interactions with humans. This previously little studied behavior may represent play or communication. Humpback whales are already known for using bubbles to corral prey and creating bubble trails and bursts when competing to escort a female whale. These new observations show humpback whales producing bubble rings during friendly encounters with humans. This finding contributes to the WhaleSETI team’s broader goal of studying non-human intelligence to aid in the search for extraterrestrial intelligence."

It might sound far fetched, but in terms of Terra, there are good theory about us being aliens here.

One of them is the asteroid theory (obviously not our current form)

our body cycle is not made for a 24 hour day, our natural defenses are nonexistent and we can't survive in hot or cold climate by default (without use of tools or clothes or technology).

I always have these rings of smoke not even intended when inside.
they always watch these whales in calm waters. these rings of airs could easily be unintentional just as the rings of smoke I produce automatically when smoking in a comfy chair.
I bet if they go watch in less calm weather and sea they won't see any of those bubbles.

Our body cycle is made for a 22 hour day, which is what existed on Earth when the dinosaurs died out and mammals began to take over. The spin of the Earth is very very slowly slowing down and in another 50 million years or so, a day will be 26 hours long.

What do you mean our natural defences are non existent? Our brain has made us the most successful predatory species this planet has ever seen. We can plan and strategise better than any wolfpack or Orca pod. We can figure out how to craft weapons stronger than any tooth or claw. Our brain is so good, we can steal other animal's strategies from them and use them better than they ever could.

We can indeed survive in hot and cold climate by default. Paleolithic man colonised the entire planet from Arctic to Desert with almost zero technology. Eskimos and Aborigines have both evolved physical adaptations to allow them to survive in freezing and sweltering conditions respectively. We are the only animal that can live on every continent, in every climate. We are the most adaptable and successful animal on the planet.
