Firework Celebrations?
It's 9pm here in SoCal as i type this. There is currently a relentless onslaught of explosions happening outside my home. I was wondering 2 things.

1) Could this be what it's like in an active warzone in real life? I'm thinking something like a Ukrainian Urban City Battle like the battle of Bahkmut or Avdivka at the height of those battles where the battle was taking place inside the city.

2) I was wondering how unique this American Holiday was. Is this a special unique American Holiday where literally every street is filled with people setting off fireworks. I know New Years exists worldwide, but when it happens here it's only a handful of fireworks that go off at midnight for like 5 minutes. Do other countries have a celebration comparable to 4th of July, or should i admire and enjoy how special this event is?
