I don't like how they look

Give out a million awards.
Buying games and getting and maybe giving awards gives you 1xp each.

Otherwise it's badges at 100xp each.

Crafting badges seems to get the most xp

I assume you want to level up to 10 at least. You are almost there...at lvl 10 you can upload pictures to the artwork section I think.

I keep forgetting to do that. I have some pictures I wanna share.

I have 40 cents in my steam wallet that I cant do anything with, I have some trading cards but idk how many full sets of cards I could make and then just give to you if you want.

How many xp until 10?

Edit: 52xp...okay easy. Im gonna buy a couple cards and then you can craft the badge and level up

Double edit:

I have some badges I could recommend you could craft that don't look weird, at least to me...

Look up these games:

-Strange Horticulture. The badge looks like a wise old mage with a black robe.

-Ori and the Blind Forest. Literally a light, white with a tint of blue forest spirit, like Navi in Ocarina of Time, and Ori is sleeping, so it's cute.

-Kind Words - It's just a pen and paper. Very simple, not distracting, not "badgey" looking.

-Fable Anniversary -- has a cartoon looking baby chicken face.

-Witcher 3 -- a pink/purple 'sharp/more angular' looking hourglass/"8"

-Montaro. The badge is a cartoon Shibi Inu

Do in game transactions count or do I need to buy actual games for xp? I spend about 30$ in a gacha this week but my level didn't increase.

I can already do that but I want to display animated stickers, maybe buying the display with steam points would be faster.

Ah I guess they lowered the level requirement for that. If my last post still says that it's pending, I edited it twice, but I listed a bunch of games with badges that don't look like badges / pleasing to the eye on a profile, so I could get the remaining cards for one of those and send

Thank you for the recommendations, my main complain about badges is how they will make the games look weird in the weekly playtime section, I prefer it when all games take up the same amount of space. This is genuinely the main issue for me I think I will try either crafting badges for games I don't play as much or I will just wait until I get level 10 through other means.
I really wish steam would give us an option to hide them like we can hide awards.

Yeah i agree, the three or so badges that randomly show up on a profile are kind of an eyesore besides the years of service or whatever. I dont like them visible up top tbh even though I do have a showcase for them ill probably replace it with an artwork showcase
