I just can't wrap my head around this logical inconsistency.

The anti Trump crowd was all in for support of this "no kings" protest because they don't want Trump to make himself a king. Ok, cool. I think we could all agree that we don't want to lose all our freedoms and become enslaved under a monarchy. (Especially one under a corrupt, egomaniacal politician)

Yet at the same time they are also against the 4th of July, a celebration of when our ancestors liberated us from the rule of a king. (It's basically the "no kings" holiday)

So I ask "has Trump made himself king or something" because I haven't heard about anything like that happening, and the reply I get is "not yet, but he's trying to make himself one."

Ok, so if he's trying to make himself king but hasn't succeeded at it yet, how does protesting July 4th, or refusing to celebrate July 4th, equate to not supporting Trump becoming king?

If anything wouldn't you want to celebrate July 4th even harder? To celebrate and say "we are a free nation and we reject authoritarianism"

If you're against the 4th of July as a holiday, isn't that the exact same as saying you're in support of installing someone as a king? Because you are against celebrating our liberation from a king.

It just doesn't make sense to me, and the anti Trump people I've spoken to about this refuse to actually explain it. They just say "we don't celebrate because we don't want Trump to be king" followed by "I don't want to discuss it further"

Can anyone make it make sense?

Trump is literally the most centrist US president, and the left simply can't defeat it with the same old, same old... and nothing new on the horizon now they are all in on the hard left ideology, 2026 and 2028 will be lost to them as well. Lets see how it plays out.

Their motives and their beleifs are inconsistent and do not conform to reality. They're never protesting anything specifically, they're just chanting what the TV and social media influencers told them to chant. The purpose of their protests is to destabilise the US and so allow the Soviets and then Chinese (the ones who've been bankrolling it since the Soviets collapsed) slowly and quietly take us over in a social and economic war rather than a hot war.

The whole thing is about Cultural Marxism. 4th of July, nay ANYTHING from the pre Civil War days that was ceremonialized is considered so called "systemic White Supremecy." So in reality the flag and 4th of July as it stands to them is an abhorrant testament to White Supremecy.

Its an obnoxious extension of Critical Race Theory and its offshoots where all Whites are painted as conspirators to the problem and anyone who speaks out is conplicit. No due process, no way out. And don't get me started if you helped out minorities. Saying that is considered being a "coloniser."

I was like you at first. Confused but gradually through listening to those such as SmashJT, Doomcock, Hypnoticc, and Yellow Flash on Youtube I gained a good insight into this insidiousness penetrating the movie and gaming spaces.
