40th Anniversary of Back To The Future
Released on July 3rd, 1985, it has since been considered by audiences and critics alike as one of the greatest science fiction films, and as one of the outright greatest films, as a whole.

Thoughts?

Would tom cruise work as marty
It’s an entertaining movie, albeit with the sequels a bit too flawed/paradoxical. As for being “one of the greatest science fiction films” or “outright greatest film”, is a stretch.

3 I don't care for but 2 was a decent sequel
I've only seen the first one back when I was a kid, my dad loved it so he'd watch it on the living room television a lot. I'd love to sit down and watch them all someday, I remember it being a pretty fun movie.

it was over rated, always has been.
No other franchise handled it's sequels as good as back to the future did.

I think they have some kind of legal protection to stop that happening.
Rare perfect trilogy, and currently unsullied by modern hollywood.

Notable almost the entire cast is white, other than Harry Waters Jr, they really couldn't do this again.
Mayor goldie wilson
All things considered I'd probably rate it in the top 10 best films certainly.
