Nature vs Man: The Battle for Earth in 2025
Central Texas saw torrential rain and flash flooding that claimed multiple lives. Scientists say this kind of extreme weather is becoming more common as the planet warms. Warmer air holds more moisture, making storms more intenseand slower-moving systems mean the rain sticks around longer, doing more damage.

Europe is baking under intense heatwaves, with wildfires spreading across countries like Greece, Spain, and Turkey. Rivers are drying up, affecting food supplies and energy systems. It’s a textbook example of how heat, drought, and fire can feed off one another in a warming world.

Massive wildfires are tearing through Canada’s boreal forests, releasing huge amounts of carbon and speeding up global warming. Experts warn this could be part of a dangerous new fire-driven era some are calling the “Pyrocene.”

New reports show we could blow past the 1.5 °C global warming limit in just a few years if emissions don’t drop fast. Will nature win?

Warmer climate tends to really in milder storms, not harsher. The US have even seen an F5 tornado since 2013. Also, Texas average several flash flood every year. Trying to push it as something new and unexpected is purely disingenuous. But, that's exactly what alarmists do with every single natural disaster.
Read Revelations in the Bible, this has been predicted for thousands of years and it's obvious the time is getting very close.

biblical prophecies line up with almost every year in existence, cannot be counted on.

warmer climate means more storms. more ocean will become rain, it that simple.
to make statements pulled out your ass does not change it.

we had way more storms growing up...more hurricanes more thunderstorms more blizzards. so this is just blatantly wrong. climate activists have no idea what their actual supporting evidence is so they just attribute absolutely everything to "climate change." and yes climate change probably is real...but only insofar as natural ups and downs. for all of natural history earth has had periods of extreme heat and extreme cold, and mild periods. it's nothing new. the only new part is left leaning media and politicians utilizing it to push their agendas and brainwash their voters. it's selfish to think that humans can even have such a massive detrimental impact that earth can't protect itself. nature always prevails

Is today climate change day on OT? Looks like we got us a bunch of Nostradamus wannabes here today.

You can't stop mother nature no matter how much you wish or think you can.

There was a three hour warning for those flash floods that were ignored that could have saved a lot of lives. Blame the people not doing what they should have been doing ... not climate change.

The dinosaurs roamed the earth for 165 million years.

Humans won't even make 10 million years.

it downright obnoxious to think human can't have such big impact.
It does! climate not changed so fast on this planet on exponentional scale such industrial revolution.
we killed of more plants and animal species in a few centuries than nature ever did by itself. this is not natural at all.
it is human dumbassery
