Ok crash course on a basic timeline

-Trailer releases get millions of views game looks promising.
-After a few years game was nearing a sorta release. But Hypixel ran out of money so they sold to Riot.
-After years of feature creep, switching engine mid development, and wanting to release on cross platform Riot cancels the project because it's not going fast enough and losing money.
-OG team saying "well we can try to buy it back maybe?"

Well so much for another potentially genera defining game. I love Vintage Story and I know they are going to add a fantasy mode but Hytale looked cool so it's a shame it's gone that way it did.
