The changes are the latest attacks by the U.S. government on science and the funding of scientific research in an effort to slash the budget to enable tax cuts elsewhere. Already, these attacks have seen the Goddard Institute for Space Studies and the National Science Foundation evicted from their offices, references to climate science removed from websites, funding of data for hurricane forecasts cancelled, and dozens of NASA missions under threat and their project teams asked to produce close-down plans as the space agency's budget is slashed.

First Cancer research, then the National Weather Service, now this. The current administration would shut the door to a burning room and tell you everything is fine. The US continues to rot from the inside out.

I hope the sensors are still collecting data and that the military at least is watching for at least national security reasons, even if there is no climate change related issue.

And can't those scientists get funding through non-government channels? Can they still at least retrieve data even if they can't 'officially' report on it? Seems like an overstep but hey, perhaps there really isn't anything going on related to climate. Those scientists should switch to studying pollution instead. Thats where the real money is.

The climate scientists getting caught scheming about how to fake the data make it fake too. Putting thermometers outside air conditioning units and on airport tarmacs to get higher readings makes it fake. Changing the colors on weather reports to make it seem hotter than it actually is makes it fake. Dozens of NASA scientists writing a letter calling out the politicization of the organization in it's use of climate alarmism makes it fake. Every prediction made on it so far being false makes it fake. It's a ♥♥♥♥ ton more than just Al Gore that makes it such a joke.

It's already coming back to bite those responsible for the cuts. 82+ people have died in Texas due to a devastating flood. There may have been proper warning to save those people had they not cut NOAA and other related agencies.
