Niche past times you enjoyed before they were "mainstream"
What past times or interests did you have before they went mainstream and did the mainstream ruin your hobby?

There was a time when anime was niche and now 50% of the global audience watches it.

There's a ton of folks who just jump on the bandwagon because something is popular.

I used to be really into computers, the internet, and techno...

then everyone else started liking it and changing the rules :S
Warhammer 40k.
We were relegated to the BACK of the comic book shop.

MTG players were front and center.
Skateboarding AND being a computer geek in the 80s.

Also pre-grunge alt rock (Jane's Addiction, RHCP, AiC, etc.)

search engines were like actually a big deal... no one remembers anymore but that's why google is so rich ya kno? XD
