DLC payment plans are predatory
I just got an offer in the EA app to buy a DLC on a payment plan. Four payments of $2.50 with 0% interest.

EA is really desperate to sell digital garbage to poor people

Paradox do DLC subscriptions. I personally think it is a good idea considering how much they charge for all their DLC.
The US get everything on a payment plan ....

I heard they can get fast food on payment plan now (not joking).
I agree, but only if the prices of a dlc aren't through the roof. Don't know what I mean? Look at Stellaris.

Yeah it has £200 of DLC on sale which is fine if it is the only game you play, but if you just feel like playing for a month or 2, the sub makes sense to me.

That's different though. It's just a subscription for all DLC right? I don't like it but it's better than paying a thousand dollars for a game.

The thing I'm talking about is paying to own on a payment plan. It's depraved to get in debt for a DLC.
I take full responsibility for the departing of money from my bank account when it comes to GAMES OR DLC's... What gaming companies do is up too them. If I fall for it, then that is entirely on me. Is it wrong for them to do what they do, not for me to say. All I know is

I signed up to steam to buy and enjoy games
It is on me how far I will go for that enjoyment and my responsibility to be wise and accountable for me actions

Yeah, I agree. Payment plans for cheap crap are predatory. It's fine for more expensive stuff though because that helps people on lower incomes. But fast food and DLC is just ripping those people off.
