Is it a state crime for a global corporation to violate the Nuremberg code on a global scale?
And trump's trying to brush it all off.
Our greatest ally, our greatest blackmailer
It's the logic-pretzels certain quarters are tying themselves into to play the "bu...bu...but wuddabout Biden" card that I'm drawing the most joy from.
Biden is not President. Trump is.
The President has sole discretion over declassification and release of sensitive information (an argument Trump used when he was accused of sharing classified info with foreign powers), meaning Trump--the US President in 2025--is the only person in the nation who could say "I don't give a damn what's in it, release it" and--barring refusal of a lawful order--it would have to be released.
That is not happening.
Add to this that Trump *campaigned* on "releasing the full Epstein files," and the whole thing reeks.
And, lest we forget, Epstein was imprisoned and died--by his own hand or otherwise--in 2019, during his first administration.
"So why didn't Biden release it?"
There are a number of potential explanations, but the most probable are as follows:
1.) The list included powerful Republicans *and* Democrats, making it a sort of nuclear bomb. Despite the fact that most Dem voters have expressed a willingness to see any Democrat on the list burn right along with their Republican counterparts, Biden may not have been willing to gut his own party just to get at Trump.
2.) Biden (or his advisers) may have recognized that any attempt to release the list--if Trump were on it (not saying he *is*, but the circumstantial evidence ain't looking great)--would have been perceived as yet another "witch hunt" or "weaponization of government."
Given that *every other* prosecution or negative bit of news was received this way by his base, this isn't too far-fetched of a possibility.
3.) Biden's cognitive decline may have already progressed to the point where he just *didn't think to do it*--and his advisor may have gone along with this due to possibilities 1 or 2 above.
But all of that is moot given that Biden is not the President in 2025. Trump is.
Trump promised to release the files and now, suddenly, there's "nothing to see here, folks."
And the excuses have just *poured* in.
...cognitive friction is a helluva thing.
This is such a blatant and obvious cover-up that even normies can see it. Even the legacy media is talking about it. Is this some kind of crazy play? Is this to demoralize everyone? Is this to show they are still in total control and there isn't sh*t tha anyone can do about it?
It really is baffling. There's gotta be a reason they did it this way.
So what if normies know its a cover up. What are they going to do? What did normies do about JFK? Back when normies were more fit, smarter, and didn't have video games to play all day.
People are going to do nothing. At best they vote democrat, which is just voting for the same swamp the right is in.
Occam's Razor suggests that if Trump himself isn't on it, some prominent Republicans/MAGA backers are--and that releasing the list with redactions for *anyone* other than the victims (whose identities should be protected) would also be a non-starter.
Same logic behind "why didn't Biden release it?" The likelihood is that there are powerful people on both sides of the aisle (and in the lobbying groups that fund the politicians) who are on that list, and nobody wants to be the person who exposed their own side.
But im not entirely sure
On the flipside, however, there is the possibility that it's not being released due to there being ongoing investigations. But I somehow doubt that.
There's also the bit where enough influential and powerful people in multiple industries are on it to where releasing it could very well crash the economy and send not just the United States but the world into another depression. At this point though I don't care. Suffering builds character.
nothing ever came of that, so my best guess is its protected by Section 230
Is that why Matt Gaetz was pressured into stepping down in order for the uniparty to select Swamp Blondie for the role?
