If I know what I want to cook, the recipe.

If I've spent the last half-hour trying to figure out what I want for dinner, the vibes.

I only cook for myself, so vibes~
I try to follow recipes sometimes depending on the day, I usually end up winging it anyways since im always missing something uwu
Always vibes. Never recipes.
A little of both. Start out with a recipe, follow it pretty strictly at first, but once I'm familiar with the dish I'm cooking on vibes.
Knives
O
R
Stranger's wives thoughts that enter while trying to find where that rabbit den is producing these furtuffs.

Improvement on the last time with the worn out utensils from the first time. Recipe for make a mess or sculpting with a keris
Examples
once would mix each ingredient together now it is a layering processes and several more pans for interior ingredients gets a specific soak to exterior gets a specific ingredient for a crust and then something cooked on the side to add to the top which gets it own marinade and specific caramelizing with extra notions of flick in the pan constant motion or a sear or a extra bake to gain crispness, gonna go cook someth'n
or
would be bowed out knife to make button slices of tomatos that sit inside the bun

to much?

Most of the time recipes, albeit sometimes i do some changes to the recipe.
recipes til i get a vibe..
I don't cook at all, and never will. There's always going to be a parent or a girflriend taking of it.

forever reliant on others... is this your common mode of operation... or you jest at
being so helpless in the food department..
I mostly try to stick to the recipe but i usually cut down the sugar and salt (im sensitive to sweet and salty flavors).
if it has ingredients i dont like i tend to use less, while if it has ingredients i do like i tend to add more (garlic and onion being the biggest ones) :d

I end up following the recipe as closely as possible and can't help myself

I refuse to waste my time on mundane tasks. That's how I roll.
Understand the fundamentals and then go off vibes. I make a homemade Alfredo Chicken Mac n Cheese Bake my brother loves and it drives him up the wall when I tell him I don't have a recipe
