Why are some people against antifa?
The only people who are generally against anti-fascism are, you know...

It smells like a yugioh tournament at their rallies so I prefer people with shower etiquette, but that’s just me

how does that compare to a smash brothers tournament?

Now the real questions are getting asked. I think a smash brothers tourny is alittle stinkier simply because there’s more movement involved
“The fascists of the future will call themselves anti-fascists.” -unknown
I'm absolutely anti-fascist, but yeah, antifa is kind of garbage. Here's why:

They're ineffective. They say electoralism is working for the rich man, the white man, but what have they accomplished in all this time? They've screamed moronic slogans, burned a few cars and made fools of the entire left. They've done more harm to liberals and social democrats than the actual right.

They have ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ideas. These guys are anarchists at best and tankies at worst. Now I can work with people I disagree with or personally dislike, but if we can't agree on either the means or the end what's the point?

They're carelessly violent. Now I'm no pacifist. Sometimes, your only choices are to submit of fight back. But explain to me how assaulting random people on the street results in fascism retreating, and not coming back armed and twice as numerous? If you're gonna use violence, at least be smart about it. Identify your enemy clearly, minimize collateral damage, and most importantly, pick your leaders. A bunch of unstable 19 year olds is not a political movement, it's more of an amorphous amoeba.
"we're the good guys, it says so in our name!!!"

Useful idiots
There should always be organised movements of people dedicated to preserving democracy, ready to act as a vanguard against tyranny, in the event of an attempt to establish dictatorship.
they can call themselves the Justice League for all I care, theyre thugs they go around commitibassault, arson, destruction of property, and occasionally murder
People wishing to be fascists pretending that they aren't is a tale as old as time. They are a group whom seem no different from those that they are criticising.
Perhaps they do not like hate groups, and people who instigate violence during protest.

are fascists themselves?

actions speak louder than words
a peaceful group doesn't need to dress for war, carry weapons, and hide their identity.

Now the real statements are getting stated. Blessed.

Really?
Looking at this more broadly than just Antifa you think no peace loving group could do those sort of things?
You can be against their methods while still supporting the overarching idea.
