I Started Going to McDonald's Again
I wish I hadn't.

Lured by the "$5 meal deal". (Quite similar to Wendy's "Biggie Bag".) I figured it was worth a few bucks.

My latest "customer experience" was about as bad as it could be.

I went inside. Made my order. Then politely waited quietly.

Two women had toddlers. One ALSO had a baby.

The toddlers had no pants, no socks, and no shoes. They were running around on all the chairs. As well as the tables. Jumping back and forth.

Whatever happened to "No shirt, no shoes, no service"?

And the mothers? Said nothing. Did nothing. Just chatted.

One toddler clearly had a uh... "full diaper". She was one stumble from it squeezing out.

Definitely a health-code violation.

No one working there asked them stop. To control their children. Or cleaned the tables.

Oh, and they screamed and cried for about 10 minutes. While the mothers made no attempt to stop them.

I was there for around 20 minutes. The ear piercing screeches of little girls. Not what I want just before I eat.

You know what they could have done? Gone through the drive-thru.

My order number was 995. Two mexicans with an order number of 1025 got their food before me.

That means literally 30 people got their food before me. Almost all of which had ordered more food than me. (It was a large bag of food.)

I ordered ONE combo meal.

I literally watched people come in, order, and then get their food. While I sat and waited.

My number was finally called. I picked up the food. Checked the bag. I didn't get my dipping sauce. So, I asked for someone to provide it.

A young woman with a nose-ring complied. With a scowl. Said absolutely nothing.

Didn't apologize. Didn't say "have a nice day". Just angrily handed me dipping sauce.

I began to walk out. Over the toddlers screams I could hear the manager. "GREAT JOB EVERYONE! I'M SO PROUD OF YOU!" Clapping.

As I went outside the drive-thru was packed. A line all the way around the building.

I got in my car, and headed home. I opened the bag to grab a few fries. Cold and soggy. They were undercooked and barely had any salt. So, I tried the burger. Also cold. Then the McNuggets, also cold.

I must insist, they weren't "just not hot, and kinda warm". It was cold. They let my food sit in a bag. While they prioritized the drive-thru and other customers.

I don't want to be a Karen, but I feel like the supervisor needs to be informed.

i am always left empty a few minutes after eating at mdeez

i have been good at staying away for years now... i do get the urge but then
i just think of my last meal there and keep on driving to the Fish n Chip shop...

MMMMM Fish n Chips
I went a few years ago to try their mcfish sandwich. It was decent and it seemed to be made of fish.
However other restaurants' fish sandwiches are superior. If its the only thing around its probably the safest thing on the menu.
I use the App and order in advance to avoid waiting for too long but I don't go there often. I do get funny looks when I just walk in, go right up to the counter and grab everything whilst others wait. It's rather satisfying. :hp_nikki:

Yeah, I gave up on them years ago. But the $5 deal? Too appealing. I get 2-3 meals out of it. Eat half the burger and some fries. Throw it in the fridge. Warm it up in the air-fryer. About 400 calories (each) if I eat only three meals.
Yea, I prefer Raising Canes more.
i suppose it is indeed possible to pass hamburger university but with the lowest possible grade lol.

just think, the shop owner has invested over 2m$ currency to get started in that business.

Quite laid back to let his 2 million fester like that.
Stop eating trash food.
Exercise and achieve quality of life.
Then eat a real cheeseburguer in weekends.

wow.. thats some real budgeting there.... but the food is soooo empty of nutrition...

.... when i was a smoker i used to live on a boiled egg and mi-goreng noodles
at the time that was a bout 80c aus a meal... when i gave up smoking i forgot to
improve my eating and saved thousands.... LOL
also regarding the bulk nappy of the OP

considerate and consideration for others...

these words have been lost amongst the masses for a very long time...
That's a shame. When I complained about my food being cold they apologised, remade my order for free and allowed me to pick any item to have for free

Which was more than I could eat so I ended up reheating it ironically enough
I eat that ♥♥♥♥ ln like 2 minutes, mcdonalds is bad.
I went to Mcdonald's yesterday for a milkshake. I stopped eating their food a long time ago, not due to the costs but to how bad Mcdonald's food really is.
i like their mcflurry's/milkshakes and their chips, nice and crispy and just enough salt.
i been doing uber eats lately double pounder my fav.
there getting way to expensive i remeber when you can get a burger for a dollar 5 cent and nah i aint old im 41 but i been around.
