Nope and I hope Trump sends Superman back to Krypton.
He's an immigrant that considers himself an American. Learned the language. "Truth Justice and the American Way" was the motto of Superman. If the cast of Superman think that their can politically hijack Superman to push their weird woke agenda then sadly the superman movie is likely to flop.
However I bet this woke angle really isn't pushed in Superman and this is just the Superman cast trying to drum up popularity with it's movie.
I don't think allowing illegal immigration is a basic human kindness. I think that he's trying to associate the two together to make others feel shame and guilt.
I think a real basic kindness is to obey people's borders and laws.
I also think that this conversation isn't so right or left as it is similar to history of Republicans being more "morally" right. I think modern illegal immigration is akin to slavery. Especially, as they try to use our farms as reasons to allow them to stay.
They're constantly pushing forward businesses as well to show that they are losing employees.
Here in Georgia, we have legal foreigners that are bussed in for our fields. Other countries do something similar as well. They don't need illegal immigrants to also allow foreigners to work here.
So if we're talking about basic human kindness, I think that means paying a fair wage that would entice Americans to work these jobs instead of employing illegal immigrants at a lower wage or to use as a bargaining chip to advocate lower wages.
Also, Mexico is also having protests over immigrants. They want Americans out because they are increasing prices. So it's kind of the opposite side of the balance.

The fact of the matter is... People are breaking the law. They are the ones that are doing the thing wrong. Period. Once the law is broken, you can't expect the victims to in turn just accept it.
I also don't think comparing Superman to illegal immigration is correct. Superman can't return home and didn't come here purposefully.
That's my opinion on it. I do plan to still watch the movie though. I don't really care about their politics. We can disagree and still have our existing relationship of creator and consumer.

Even in the super hero movies the immigrants only brought destruction, the "good ones" were fighting the bad ones, so break even, you don't see the earth improved with their presence.
Nathan Fillion (Firefly Castle, The Rookie), who plays Guy Gardner, aka Green Lantern, laughed off the negativity and kept his response brief.
“Aw, somebody needs a hug,” Fillion said. “Just a movie, guys.”
It's just a movie as Fillion said.
This film is now a Profiters for all Mods People of the World incl. Germans
Did you enjoy the series Smallville?

notice the comments are very politically correct.
they could be referring to legal immigrants, and refrain from commenting further to not anger the left (=
Or the could be including illegal immigrants, but not want a confrontation with the right
I won't be going to see this woke/D.E.I. creation. There are already far more than enough Superman movies as it is.
Let's not forget as well that James Gunn was not in favor for doing some very not so nice things. Getting fired by Disney of all places for offensive tweets.
Look, we all have skeletons in our closet and he is no different, but what he is doing by making this movie is going against common sense.
He needs to be taught a lesson on how immigration really is supposed to work. Leaving a border wide open isn't one of them.
