You wouldn't say that if you knew how many plants, and animals, have to be exterminated to preserve the crops that are actually edible.
funfact vegans. Meat tastes better if it lived a happy life and died in a relaxed state.

so high quality meat is the most humane.

then they all die because they can't survive in the wild!

when's the last time you saw a wild cow? these animals only exist because people keep them.

there used to be wild cows, mostly throughout central eurasia. they were called orok. and were far bigger than the domestic cow.
