I ate half raw chicken once. The electric died, so I got it out of the oven and ate it in the dark, only to find the next morning it wasn't totally cooked. It didn't make me sick.

I once had a blackened cajon chicken. I believe it was supposed to be burned. Gave me the runs afterwards.

only "burnt on theside" chicken I'd trust might be jerk chicken... but it still has to be cooked on the inside ;p
mmmm carcinogenic...
Yep. Chicken thighs. Thankfully it was dark meat so it wasn't utter rubber.

someone has never burnt a marshmallow on the fire and then eaten the burnt ouside layer then burnt it again and reapeated until there's no more marshmallow.

the trick is to not over-burn it.

I like when my marshmallows catch fire I let it stay on fire to it gets a nice burnt to the outside then blow it out and eat right after.
Charred, like BBQ or blackened, sure.
