Meanwhile, yours truly was given a warning, contested it, had it removed by steam support citing it was a bit excessive, was given a ban without any community message explaining which post I was banned for, asked why I was banned if my previous warning was removed, was told the warning was appropriately applied but that the ban for a deleted post which I was directed to view by steam support (which I cannot view) was excessive, and had the ban removed.

It turns out when everything is a violation of the deliberately vague rules on Steam, nothing is a violation of the deliberately vague rules on Steam, but if you're not a billion dollar corporation doing business on steam, you're still likely violating every rule on steam at any given time.
