I mean if you have dirt or grime on your hands after doing something like going the bathroom or touching raw meat, yeah hand washing helps.

If you don't wash your hands just keep your hands away from your eyes nose and mouth. Youll be fine then with dirty hands.

you should wash your hands when preparing food or doing anything in which your hands should be sanitary. but doing it obsessively harms your immune system's ability to deal with illness.

But you can wash your hands and wipe down your phone and keyboard and then you are touching a clean surface and when its not clean you do the process all over again.
