The US war on... Democracy?
As of recent, the US has started to attack democratic regimes in favour of dictators (and wanna-bes).

Last week, Donald Trump has tackled Brazil and asked us to abandon the constitutional regime and institutions, in order to protect a family of thieves (which has, among many other crimes and suspicious activities, stolen jewelery, deviated money in "rachadinhas", and bought over 100 homes with bagages of cash).

A Nobel prize on Economy denounces this as claims there are more than enough reasons to begin impeachment proceedings.

How can it be that a president considered "right" be against soverignity and Democracy?

Should he be impeached already? What is the use of letting such bad leader harm everyone any longer?

They're cutting funding to the Department of Education. America has a rich ruling class that wants to prevent people from having any upward mobility. If you want a good career like a doctor, lawyer or engineer, you have to go to school.

Because you say so?
Or because you want to be aligned with a megalomaniac?

It has been a Democracy since 1985.

No, you can shove it up yours.

An youtuber ranting on an NGO is not what defines reality.

Eu sou brasileiro. I know where I live.

It does define reality, this stuff is public information.

We define where you live.

You are a fish that can't see the water you swim in.

You are the one who comes from a terrible education, gets "informed" via sketchy commentators on youtube, and probably speaks only one language, yet you want to tell *me* what is the political system of the country I've lived all of my life.

Congrats on entering the ignore list, clown.

One often acts in interests befitting to who they really are
This is something more people need to understand about fascists. Fascists aren't content just ruling their own little pocket of the world. They spread themselves everywhere. They corrupt everything within and without.
They are never isolated. Never contained.

Fascists should have been stomped on hard after the conclusion of ww2, and we should have stayed vigilant against their ilk since, rooting them out and getting rid of them wherever they may crop up. There should be zero-tolerance towards them.

You mean like the US supported Allende and not Pinochet. Oh wait. Or Batista. Or the Saudi Royal family. Or supporting both Hussein and Khomeini (ensuring the war was dragged out by supporting whoever was losing at the time). Or Marcos. And dozens of others.

History suggests if the US has the choice of a dictator or a democracy in another country, they prefer the dictator. They only "settle" for supporting democratic leaders if there is no dictator
currently available (and if so, the CIA might actively be trying to help create one, especially if the democracy in question even looks sideways at improving workers' rights).

My step-sister is a teacher, and she is absolutely thrilled at the prospect of the DoE not existing anymore. She knows first hand that the DoE does nothing but make it harder for her as a teacher to educate her students.

America has a horrible school system that has produced entire generations of people who can barely read/write, struggle to do basic math, and have been trained to memorize and repeat. Generations who are completely incapable of using logic or critical thinking.

Generations who regularly vote against their own interests and who would happily throw away their freedom on the belief that big daddy government should have even more power.

Generations who see obvious lies being spewed by an influencer and without question they just accept those lies as truth and parrot them like a good little brainwashed slave.

The most terrifying phrase in the english language is "I'm from the government and I'm here to help"
Orange man bad.
To me the real "dictators" are the ones who suppressed conservative voices on Twitter for years before Elon took over. Or the BLM activists who burn down a Footlocker and steal all the Jordans every time they don't get their way.

This has been a 10 year battle because the people who have been in power for 60 years lost a big chunk of their power quite suddenly when Trump came along. They can't shut you up by frothing at the mouth and spouting "racist!" at everything that challenges their worldview.
