People used to dream in black and white.
When black and white cinema and TV became popular, the majority of people would dream in black and white.

This only happened during that time period as far as we can tell. It stopped being the majority once colored media became common place.

yes
Oh yeah gray times when color didn't existed, my gramps told me a story about how he always thought his dog was golden yellow, but it was golden brownish.
and now we have upgraded to digital dreams...

Oh, I'll pass that on. Who knew right?

That's interesting.. I could even see it being that way, but are you sure?
No matter how hard I try, I can't conjure any sort of a still image inside my mind. It's not even a vague blank state of it, nothing.. It's just empty.

All I can do is talk to myself inside my mind, or so as they call it the inner voice.
..
I'm sorta wondering right now, how do I dream if I can't even put my own imagination to a use as each ordinary person can do?
Whether it's coincidental or not, I can't seem to remember having any dream in the past.. More than eight years aswell.

What if the world was actually indeed black and white but something changed the world and added colour?

Our eyes do constatly deceive us, and we are well aware of it.
What if the world is black and white all along, and the colors are merely illusions created by our very imagination?

The explanation for everybody seeing the same color, otherwise if being colorblind different colors, could also be explained with everyone having a different DNA, through evolution..
Right?

I'm finding this thought even more interesting than before! Well, I didn't even come up with it before, so.. :erune:
Thanks for somehow triggering it for me! :Kotori:

No.. Not in the slightest.
The memory is there. I know how it looks and all.. But I can't picture it in my mind whatsoever.
If I were to see it for a few seconds, then hid it from my eyes for about the same amount of time and asked me to imagine it - I would've failed. Yeah..

It's been quite the obstacle during the school years and when we had art lessons.
I struggled, but my motivation to keep up the appearances has always made me try, and much to my surprise even better than most students did.

That explains, why TVs didn't have color to begin with. Color was added later, but old TVs were still lacking. Also any vocab for color was imaginary back then.

I still do because I can’t afford the neural upgrade.

Sounds like visual suffocation.

thats interesting.... i know there are people that can and cant do things other can...

if i imagine a family photo... its not like a full on picture for me... its like shadow image...

but if i was half asleep or asleep i would see it as a solid picture...

also i had a experience where i woke before a dream ended and i watched the
dream shutdown in my mind and its like being at vr cinema and the screen
shrinking til its gone and you are back to darkness brain

I don't know how true that is. I do know changes in how you dream are a good metric of penetration into the structure of the unconscious mind. Could also be due to television putting the brain into an alpha brainwave state. Like some video games, driving, etc.
