Which pets are part of, obviously. They're not property, they're kin.
As to what my answer would be, I'm partial to cats, mice, rats, rabbits, squirrels, raccoons and foxes. All but one of those my landlord would not permit me to have in accordance to my lease and three of those are not permissible to be kept as pets in the backwards and regressive state of California.
Just one more reason why this state I live in is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and why I would love to be able to relocate at some point.
