Doesn't matter if it's niche or super popular.

Yes, they do. Some are even ongoing even after 20+ years.

'Dandy & Company'

Pretty sure it ended though. Slowly morphed from a comic-strip to a comic-book. Dude spent around 15 years on it.

I looked up Joe Cartoon the other day and it's still a thing. The old internet never truly went away for the most part, people just stopped looking for it or being social enough to find it. Flash is still a thing, but you won't find support on most up to date browsers too; that's a whole tree of communities in itself. Many of them went on to become game developers.

Dr. McNinja
Sabrina Online
Ginger's Bread
8-bit Theater
Gordon Frohman
The Last Days of Foxhound

I actually loved Ctrl+Alt+Del. Come at me.

The IT Crowd.
8-bit theater, though I never finished it, was fun
I remember Stupid Short Eevee Comics being fun, but it's being ended and rebooted now after ~7 years of running. Story wasn't even at the halfway mark either, there was a lot planned for this thing
Twokinds was cool
Never finished it either but Bittersweet Candy Bowl was also really nice. More of a slice of life webcomic but it was neat

Inb4 "of course all you know are furry webcomics"

Speaking of furry webcomics, ever heard of Dreamkeepers? You know, by David and Liz Lillie?

I used to read Darbi.
I only remember reading 8 Bit Theater and Bob & George with any amount of regularity, but those both ended. I know I have read others, but I forgot what they were.
