Why do Canadians speak American?
Shouldn't Canadians be speaking Canadian?

If Canadians insist on speaking American, don't Trump have the right to demand a yearly royalty fee from Carney to cover licensing? I mean, you can't just sing somebody else's song and not pay a licensing fee, right? That is called piracy.

would it be german if us americans lost the war?

There's no such thing as American. There's UK English which Canada uses, being a Commonwealth member, and American English. Either way, both are English. Now it makes sense why American president has such poor English. That's what happens when daddy buys his entitled children their education.
