What's worse?
To live life being unaware to all the problems in the world?
or
To live with the knowledge that there are problems in the world?

Thought about this to myself when doing work one day.
And I am conflicted by both as either of them show the positives and the negatives of simply being unaware and ignorant or learning to live with the knowledge of something that'll stick with them forever till their death.

Being unaware is worse.

Which one do you enjoy more?
Our brains our limited and our thoughts affect our function, so I'd rather be ignorant if I had to pick between the two extremes.

Would like to know:
1. Stuff I can change
2. Stuff that'll directly affect me

Otherwise it's demoralising with nothing that can be done about it
You can't do much about it anyway so be aware of this:

*farts*
you're better off being ignorant until it bites you in the butt...
Knowing about the problems is better because you can prepare for/prevent/do something about said problems

I would say the first one.
The issue with the first one is that it leads to certain expectations out of virtually everything and if the person who isn't aware to any problem happens to step into an issue. their reaction will completely shutter their mind and cause far more stress which leads to psychological damage

With the second path, the person is already aware that the world has problems but he will be able to go around those problems and understand how to avoid them or if he happens to get into those problems then know how to make the best out of that situation by coming up with possible solutions to solve the problem or lower it's impact over his life.
Neither. It's just different.
The question suggests a binary choice... ignorance or complete knowledge. In reality, awareness exists on a spectrum. We all exist with some level of awareness. So the question presents a false dichotomy. You can't truly be entirely unaware of all the problems in the world. Even if you actively try to ignore them, news, conversations, and life in general will inevitably bring them to your attention.

It's more like of would you rather live knowing that 50-75 Billions of chickens are slaughtered each year for human consumption thus putting weight on what is considered the value of life as a whole every time you go buy poultry from a grocery store or just enjoy eating your crispy chicken sandwich during your lunch time without thinking much into it?

...Also the fact that we have people that exist in our world that are stupid enough to be ignorant to the point where they still think they're right in an argument.
Even if they're losing or already lost.

It forces you to consider the implications of a simple act. It exposes the moral trade-off we make every time we eat meat. It's a challenge, and a valid one. There’s no easy answer.

What's missing nowadays is education and common sense. I'm seeing it all the time. It's almost bordeline. People do it either because they can't admit they're wrong, or they just don't get it. Their brains can't even process it lol.
There are only two kinds of people. Those who clamp the umbilical cord early, and those who don't.
Is there anyone over five years old, who doesn't know the world is full of problems?
