And regretfully, they still have lots of political/financial power. Their existence reminds me that their is no god. For I see them, and I only see evil.
They seem to be under the impression they have a monopoly, let them know this isn't the case.
Paypal isn't the only thing to pay stuff online with. Nor is visa or whatever.
Just discontinue their service, state your reason, maybe they'll even catch on.
If you have to get yet another payment processor to pay for these things, you might as well use this new payment processor for everything else too.
contact your local, county, state, and federal representatives as respective, and inform them that groups of landlord(server hosters), banks, and credit lenders are attempting to usurp formal control over the operations of public businesses and the public market though backroom deals and threats of undue termination of services. These people are attempting to be an unelected leadership which is determining what goods or services are or are allowed to be exchanged by the populace. Warn them that you will volunteer to aid bills that protect your rights as and independent market agent, and tell this message to business owners and fellow consumers alike.
There's increasing pressure from states and countries towards companies that in any way allow or fail to prevent adult material being sold to children or illegal material being sold.
The banks are right to do so. They will only damage themselves if they are associated with grey transactions. If the companies don't like it, they can source other payment methods.
I very much suspect that this is just the start of a real clampdown on porn. The internet went too far, now there will be kickback.
