well I live at the 4th floor.. so I would not worry much.. for they never can get trough the halldoor.. get up 8 stairs.. and trough my frontdoor.. way to sturdy...

and they may be angry but they have no mind they would just attack..
they would have zero reason to break in.. but if you would place them in the hallway (not sure that would fit even if spread out over all the stairs...) they would want to escape and due them not knowing in which direction they would push toward both the door to the outside and mine all all neighbours frondoors equally.


well than... I would use the hatch to the roof... it is to small for something the size of a lion to get trough... and has a sturdy iron lick.. so even if they would eventually break trough my front door (it's solid wood and strong iron frame.. but anything can eventually give in..)

once on the roof they have zero chance to get there... if they go outside they fall 4 floors down.. back to streetlevel.. I be sure to grab my emergency kit that has a supply of drinking water, medical kit, a radio and light that can be charged with a dynamo or solar power.. and some rations.. if I ration the water to half a liter a day.. I can survive a week on that roof..

well than.. the lions under are standing in my under neighbours livingroom.. not my problem....
tose around.. well 1 may be in the hallway and most likely would be more interesting walking off the stairs downstarts... the others be in the livingroom of my neighbours left and right again not my problem..
the ones back and front of the house those would drop 4 floors break all their legs and are not a problem..
the ones on the roof they cannot get to me.. as the roof is solid concrete.. and even if they get the hatch broken it is to small for them to get into..
