I think a lot of people felt it goes down hill after that.
Season 2 was alright, Season 3 meh.
I stopped watching some point throgh season 3 as it started falling apart imo
Absolutely worth to watch anyway.
This is how I felt about Dark. The mystery seemed interesting but I bailed after a few episodes as it felt like nothing was ever going to happen.
I sat through and watched all of Dark. I liked the show for the most part, but it is most definitely slow. What they did in multiple seasons they could have done in 1 probably. It starts to pick up later, but the twists are pretty weird and it all is somewhat nonsensical. It was still interesting, but only if you can tolerate the slow pace of it. You are probably better off reading a plot synopsis if you find it too boring to sit through. It was also hard to follow along as they skip through time and flashbacks a lot.
It loses almost all of its allure after season 1.
They hyped it up so much I thought, oh this must be like the best psychological thriller show ever.
I was severely disappointed. Season 2 got boring after like maybe the fourth episode...maybe sooner. At that point I was like, alright, I get it, lol. Mystery solved and acting is meh.
The only seemingly interesting part about it is that the director and producers did a good job of making me think they were back in the 80s or whatever.
But yeah it feels like a show I would have been glued to as a teenager or younger.
