does anyone else find it wierd that the ksp subreddit has a rule for not talking about space accidents in real life

Dammit what grade was I in, 4 I think, when Challenger asploded. The going joke then was:

NASA = Need Another Seven Astronauts
Why would they add that rule?

The bigger joke was Reagan blaspheming about touching God. He was nothing but a ventriloquist dummy for the "moral majority" pharisees.

They made Valentina Kerman a badass, but the real https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valentina_Tereshkova#Vostok_6 was chosen for propaganda purposes, and was a less than ideal choice, considering how she forgot her training and breached protocols.
