trump and the us hosting major worldwide sporting events
the 2026 fifa soccer cup and 2028 summer olympics. The us is going to be the host(yes I know a couple of soccer matches will take place in mex and can)

sports and politics are usually related. Governments increase popularity based on results, sometimes countries are boycotting the event to make the host look bad such as 1980 the us boycotted moscow summer olympics then the soviet union did the same boycotting 1984 la summer olympics, uk threatening to pull out from 1936 berlin summer olympics and so on

what's going to happen? is this going to be good for trump? is there going to be any boycott? if the us wins the summer olympics, is trump going to take credit for it? what if the us loses? people going to blame it on trump?
lol are anti trumpers going to be rooting for other teams? do they want the us to lose to hurt trump?
what about "terrorism"? false flag event? false cyber attack during major event?

so many things could happen

What is going to happen, the participants will double check their papers to make sure everything is in order, but there will be less people at the event due to people worrying about not being allowed in the country.

if participants don't show up to the event, of course that will hurt trump and the current administration
if tourists don't show up as expected, it's just less profit. I guess not a major issue.
