Karl Urban is Johnny Cage in the new movie.
Bad casting. Almost as bad as casting Noah Centrino to play Ken, or that skinny English guy to play Ryu - the current Streetfighter movie cast is also a bit whack.

Could at least get actors that look like who they are portraying.

Seeing the latest MK2 movie trailer, it looks just like MK Annihilation back in the 90s again and will surely be a huge flop.

Unfortunate, the reboot was promising almost, aside from that Cole guy...

Check out the youtube films "MK Rebirth" and "MK Legacy" or whatever they are called.

They are most entertaining.
The Bay Harbor Butcher is actually Johnny Cage!?
That might be one of the worst trailers for a movie that I've ever seen. Did Tommy Wiseau direct it?

I hear Kano is alive again ~ (Good news I guess!)
Kano was the only thing that made the last film watchable in my opinion.

I can't remember another event or sequence in the film aside from Kano's parts.

Such a wasted opportunity.

Karl Urban is ok in other media, but as Johnny Cage, what a flop this film will be.

I notice they don't show Cole in the trailer, or much of?
Maybe they kill him off fast.

But here's hoping Cage changes actors or something too... Sigh.

In what way does Karl Urban look like Johnny Cage?

Is the casting director cross-eyed, or a bit stupid?

I don't get it.
Nothing beats the original Mortal Kombat movie from the early 90s.

I have no interest in seeing any MK movie, but Karl Urban is a good actor and a charismatic lead. So I have no issues with that.
Why not bring back Linden Ashby?

Legendary from beginning to end.
Who would you have wanted instead? Ryan Reynolds?
Johnny cage isn’t an old man in his 50s at least how i remember him

If they wanted old Johnny, they should have brought back Linden Ashby from the original 90s Mortal Kombat movie.
