It is an interesting analogy, the frog will try to escape as fast as it can if thrown into a pan of boiling water, but if the frog is placed in luke warm water and slowly let to boil, the frog will remain motionless, until it is cooked to death, same happens to humanity.

Americans aren't required, as far as I know, to have identification when walking in public -- only when driving a vehicle for which a license is required, or in a place where a driver's license is required.

So, not when driving, for example, a golf cart or a riding lawnmower.

I like this idea. Like we live in age where criminals can pull your credit card info out of your purse or pocket with magitech, but the government needs to stop you and see your birth certificate to know who you are. In that world, the alphabet angencies must not even exist. And by that I mean the government ones, not the religious one.
