Religion is manmade it exists because people fear unanswered questions?
This happened just last week when I visited my hometown. I wanted to see my grandma. To be honest, my grandma isn't a very religious person she doesn't go to church often or follow any strict faith. Instead, she practices the traditional ways passed down by our ancestors. But if there's one thing everyone in our neighborhood knows, it's this my grandma is a genuinely good person. She's always kind, always helping others, and always putting others before herself.

A few days ago, I saw her listening to a pastor preaching. The pastor said something like this
"If you want to be saved and go to heaven, you must accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. If you don’t, you won’t enter heaven."

As I looked at my grandma’s face, I noticed something that broke my heart she looked sad. Like those words had just told her that all the good she’s done in her life didn’t matter.

And in that moment, I realized something.

Let me give you an example:
There are two people Person A and Person B.
Person A is very religious. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior. But in his everyday life he do immoral things
Person B, on the other hand, doesn’t know Jesus or follow any religion. But he’s always kind, always honest, and always does good for others.

Now let me ask you this:
Who deserves to go to heaven Person A or Person B?

Do you see what I’m trying to say?

Until now, that moment with my grandma still hurts me. Because if heaven is only for those who speak the right words and not those who live with the right heart… then something feels wrong.

Haha fair point. Nothing teaches morality faster than getting banned for posting a meme in General Discussion :steamhappy: Still, it’s kind of interesting how communities even online ones create their own rules of good and bad, even without any religion involved.

For me somehow I kinda realize that people often turn to Gods because they're afraid to take responsibility for the hard questions like , Why are we here? Why do we suffer? What happens after death? Instead of facing these fears or uncertainties directly, they create stories, rituals, and beliefs about Gods to cope.
It sounds like person A and B are basically the same. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Was God aware that World War 2 will happen? What if he was aware that World War 3 will happen and we just wipe each other out?

Yes, some people hang onto it and believe in it because they don't want to face the real world. But if you need to tell us or anyone the routine is nonsense as if we don't know, YOU HAVE MISSED THE POINT! You understand the purpose of every other work of fiction you've ever read, correct?

It's simple, it's a cast of characters within scenarios like most other stories. And like most stories it's full of analogies, outcomes and morals.

By analogy YOUR RELIGION is YOUR ROUTINE and YOUR GODS are your OVERSEERS, COMMANDERS, LEADERS.

"People learn by example"
and guess who invented it? yep, thats right. me! i was going through some hard businesses thousands of years ago and was unsure of myself and my place in the realities, so i thought i would pen my thoughts to book.

very helpful for others who are also blessed by visions of meat and ink

Religions are indeed 'manmade', meant to control people. It has little to do with spirituality anymore.
