Been using OBS for a while and it worked wonders. I still remember using unregistered hypercam 2 when I was a peasant. Haha. Good times.

OBS is a good program. I suppose one could record with Nvidia or AMD GPU software, but i find OBS to be just the one I got accustomed to. I like its customization with the file extension, quality, resolution size, resolution location, etc.

It could be used to record a video and make an effect of having that video playing on a television due to its customization

Steams new built in recorder does a fairly good job too.
