Russian players often get accused of cheating a lot.. I wonder if the situation is similar.
Have you ever tried their Roulette?
Its exhilarating! Not for the weak of heart...
I haven't heard from the other players of that match since then... I guess that is a downside.
to someone who lives in canada or something and is probably not regularly matched up with russians in games, they probably do not think this.
supportive of putin and his madness is.
we know that many russians hate putin want him gone, but well that saying so will get them jailed, and fleeing russia for many is not exactly viable either.
-even in a game saying the truth may be risky (who know what the "kgb" all sees and does.
but heh.. at least you could not be openly supportive..
being all Z on your profile and character.. and slur in chat all kind of hatefull messages about the ukraine war.
that makes those people who btw are playing shooters (it is why I not meet them.. this toxic type has their genre of game) quite anoying..
it is baislcy playing a game while ww2 is going on and have another player openly praise the nazi's.
-you may not object him being german.. for well many people are powerless what kind of idiot runs their nation (look at usa now).. but if they openly support that. well you might just want to walk away from the game and start firing real bullets in real life at those "players" instead
============================================
personally I hate the latins in games..
like in WoW back when I played it
and in other MORPG too (I now only play RPG no online ones maybe because of them...
why are they so bad?
well first the languae
I don't speak spanish.. they never speak english (and as a dutch speaking 5 different languages dutch, frisian, german, english and norwegian.. should be enough for them to learn at least 1 too..
-
facts are facts if a server is international the language is english, the lingua franca of the modern world. if you don't speak english most games do have other servers..
it is also rude to keep talking your own language in a larger group.. thou shall adapt!
their failings to just stick in their own spanish server yet no english skills is hell of anoying.. each time the system teams you up with one of them.. I rather quit and wait another 30 minutes in que than suffer trough it..
-
they also are aholes outside of multiplayer
like the behavior of kill-stealing, or ninjaing YOUR drops when grinding, often paired with getting you killed/driving you to insane potion use, in the hope you drop dead and they can take your stuff.. like you training they lure a large group.. than purposely run past you so they attack you.. but with you already training.. your hp is already under strain and you may not notice it untill they are on top of you... than you get more than you get killed by more than you can chew.. and they steal your drops (and even your main gear if that drops too in some games).. as well as costing you days worth of xp (for at high lvl 1 death basicly can set 99.99% lvl progress down to 0 with it taking weeks of 8 hour a day grinding to get there..
-
luckely they seem to be mostly in certain timeslots.. like normal time of day.. fellow europeans.. than the americans come online.. and europeans slowly go to bed. (there is overlap). and than the spanish latino's come and you not want to play anymore..
--
after them sometimes asians come.. but asians tend to have their own servers and games.. they tend to speak english just fine (and be excusing if not) ok I mostly played with south koreans and malasian servers... so not all asians may be as polight but it is my experience in when I had to deal with them)
I even played in asian servers myself cause they are great people (only really realy into it.. so asian servers nolifing is mandatory.. zero tolerance for causual/noobs
-
if I have to say I have noticed asians do seem to cheat and dabblein goldfarming a lot too.. but that does not really influence your gameplay.
they basicly going vac (sucking all the enemies in a region to them) than godmode (take no damage) than autoclick (automaticly attack enemies without needing action of the player) and finally autopick (suck up any item that drops so no action of the player is needed for that)
- this does not hurt me as much.. unless it gets too much.. if there are 20 training spots and all 20 are full of bots doing this.. than it gets anoying.. usually it is just 1 of them and plenty left for me to just train.
-they even bring nice high level gear on the market (for any drops that can be sold they will) which due increased supply means I can get them cheaper than without them.. having easier acces to the good gear is a win in my book.
-them ofcourse causing inflation is an issue.. but well it depends on the speed at which it happens.. my 30.000 gold in wow used to basicly buy empty the actiionhouse as even the most rare item that costed real money to obtain would at best be 100 gold.. now everything is 10000 times that.. but it took 10 years to reach that point.. and by that point I have earned easely also 10000 times that had I still be playing.
it just means that old accounts that have not be playing for years find their money is now worth nothing but that can be solved by stocking up on items instead of money before you stop gaming.. so you have valuebles to sell if and when you want to resume
They say its just the culture.
Who is "we"?
The west. After the Berlin wall fell it was happy times and looting, and people didn't see what was going on until the wake up call of 9/11.
