Other Artists, what real life figurines do you guys use for reference
I used to love playing around with my old clone figures from Star Wars.

Male or female doesn't matter here.

I used to have some animal figurines I liked to sketch.
Then we moved and they all got lost 😅

I own several of these figurines

Over the years, I’ve collected around 1.5–2TB of nudes, dynamic model poses, landscapes, and scenery from various CG sites.

I also recommend the book "Color and Light: A Guide for the Realist Painter"

My "Xiao Jin" caihuajin doll is splendid for artistic purposes for as long as I can get her to stand up straight for five seconds without crashing down to the floor like grandma.
"real life figurines" is puzzling me

It's cuz people might think I'm talking about 3d models on computer

Those are cool but I was hoping for something based on a property. Like the Clone Trooper figures I mentioned.

Unfortunately 3D models and pictures dont work for me. I find it a lot more enjoyable to have the physical things in front of me. Setting things up here is like half the fun

I've actually got that book lol
