No websites
I don't really want to make a redit account so I'm here. For some reason when I try to go to any website it gives me a connection error and I'm pretty sure that it's Norton or avast that Is stopping me. But what ever is causing it I can't fix it through any type of downloadable software that isn't already on my computer because I can't even open Google or anything. If you have a solution please explain it in dumb terms because I'm usually really slow.

You have Norton AND Avast???
Try closing out of both programs (completely, might need to right-click on the little icon on the taskbar to quit fully) and see if you have the same problem.

I think say same thing. Why you need two antivirus, if the Windows Defender is the best or Linux is security?
That

Plus reboot router just in case

Plus i bet you would be better off reinstalling windows cause i bet you have a ton of extra ptograms installed you dont need.

Windows has a built in security program
But if you want extra antivirus program only pick 1 cause 2 will conflict
Right-click your network connection icon in the system tray and try the troubleshooter for the specific network adapter thats going online. It might be your ethernet cable isn't pluggged in snugly or if its wifi you've got a refrigerator running between you and your router.

Norton came pre installed and I didn't know till later but anyway I'll try all these things later because it's almost midnight right now and I really don't want to do do all that at this time of night. I'll let you guys know if anything works.
