However, in the long term, X-Ray vision would be more profitable for me personally, as it could not simply be copied into the system as-is. Researching a laser analog which is safer, more precise, and less potentially hazardous to the recepient, will always come first. And my anomalous state will do nothing to enhance their progress, allowing me to profit from it for longer.
Turning coal into diamonds takes longer with x-rays, by orders of magnitude, but it can do the same job theoretically.
I'd rather have laser vision though; it's strictly superior. It's a full wavelength!
At least you could weld or something with laser.
