Why does is seem like any sort of sweets these days have the word “share” plastered all over them
It doesn’t make sense. It’s even on packets that are hard to share with another person because of how little is in the packet. I’ve seen supposed “share bags” of sweets where only around a quarter of the bag is filled up. Not only is it bloody annoying that shrinkflation is everywhere, but it’s also probably bad for the environment to have so much packaging for so little sweets. Is it this bad in other countries?

portions
contents will settle during shipping, and leaving space allows the packaging to not burst open as easily.
it's a warning sign for us to share the toilet if we consume too much of it

That's the excuse, money is the real reason.
When the bag says “family sized” but it’s actually just for me.
So consumers will buy more to "share"
