Republicans allowed the 2020 election be rigged and stolen, without a fight. Mike Pence certified the stolen election, even though he had the authority to stop it. Many republicans are RINO's, and Trump has done a great job of exposing them before the American people.

Because it's easy political capital and, much unlike the white house, they can't be sued for potentially putting people against a lynch mob.

With how violently people want anyone on whatever work of hell the "Client list" even is. It could be a list of random contacts common for the FBI and local law enforcement both to establish for reference in later actually meaningful evidence, a contact list including his business contacts like land leasers and people who ever used his jets, or some other mundane garbage.And if your name is on it, including foreign dignitaries I might add, you get a lynch mob. Congress doesn't care to care, the white house is bein sued for things it has the veyr obvious right and even duty to do by states who think they can literally hide criminals from ICE....what makes you think the white house can risk creating lynch mobs?
