The award itself is fine. The people who try to farm them are the issue.

They're not really complaining, but using the reverse psychology as as observed, it convinces people to think of it as a complaint and provide the award to furthermore highlight it as such..

As for what do I think about the Jester award.. That it's misunderstood.
The award itself is fine, but do tell people that they're wrong; Nobody's gonna hear the end of it, obviously.

I dont mind it. In fact, I edit any comment that has one saying thanks to the clown who gave me it, lol.

At least you get point for it
