M-rated games are usually better than T-rated games
With regard to ESRB ratings, I can't help but notice that T-rated games usually seem to have stories that are a lot more shallow and childish. Definitely not always the case... there are of course some T-rated games known for having great writing.

And it makes sense too... because often a developer going for a T-rating is trying to appeal to a younger and less intellectually sophisticated audience than a developer making a similar game going for an M-rating.

Makes sense, also because M-rating expands the range, allowing for more creativity.

I guess if you're not having to decide whether to torture someone to death to extract their vitae and save your (maybe?) sick fetus while you're potentially in a vitae extracting torture simulation that's wiping your memory over and over which just has details added that imply you're out of the simulation, it's not "adult" enough.
