Last horror movie you watched and ur opinion on it?
For me: Night Swim (2024). Nah, it wasn't anything special. Not a single inventive idea in it except maybe the overall concept of a haunted pool. But, for what it was, i guess it worked. I rated 6/10. Only for genre enthusiasts/nerds.

i watch horror movies almost every single day of my life. today i watched l'aldilà (1981) for the second time. really incredible 80s italian horror film, my first watch was about 7-8 years ago so i did not remember much. greatly enjoyed it

i watched night swim, did not particularly like it. the general admittance rating probably hurt the concept a bit
Chime

Been on way watchlist for a while. Finally got around to it. It’s from the director who made Cure and Pulse. It does have his signature hopelessness atmosphere but other than that I am not sure if I liked the movie. If it had a deeper meaning, it flew right over my head.

I watched NS just for Kurt Russell’s son. I don’t remember anything about it. It was boring.
pretty crap... shark horror flicks have really gone down hill since deep blue sea.
28 Years Later

The way it was shot, its ending feels like I'm watching a random fight scene of Power Rangers instead

Ah, that bad? I want to watch it at some point, but did not really like the prequel

I found DBS on a second hand quite cheap, a childhood fav
I watched a bunch the other day, the last one i watched though was late night with the devil. It was interesting and a good watch, basically imagine a exorcism on live tv in a 70s talk show setting. Its better than i described it lol :bluerune::luv:

It's more of a mixed bag. The first half of the film feels much more like a true terrifying sequel to the first 2 films. The second half on the other hand, is where I feel its tone starts to become quite inconsistent, and its bizarre ending pretty much sums it up

yeah i think it was about silence and how the characters couldn't handle being left alone with their thoughts
Polaroid

Plot: Someone finds a Polaroid Camera and if you take a picture of someone with that camera they will die. A monster comes out and kills them and then they will vanish from that picture.
