With fire. The power to create a minuscule sun. BRING THEIR SOCIETY DOWN WITH THE ARMAGEDDON FIRE OF A NUKE !

That, or you can try chemistry with repellants and ant-killer sprays or paste, or even ant-eater pets.

About nature agencies : well, chemistry and genetics. Did you do research on how governements and all fight against mosquitoes ? And there is some flesh-eating flies in central america, the effort, coordinated by the CDC, was to airdrop sterile (male ?) flies over the affected regions, as those flies mate for life : the couple can't reproduce.

As a ranger, I found the shotguns and grenade launchers to be pretty effective against big swarms of ants. Glory to EDF.

We used to have an ant problem but we kept poisoning them and we haven't had a problem in decades.

Add an invasive ant eater to take care of your problem, and winter will take care of the ant eater for you.
