i tried the quest 3s.
it's okay and they even take payments if you need. i never got that much into vr, tho.
Quest 3 is a versatile and reliable work horse, especially for the price.

There are headsets out there with sexier specs but I have had no complaints from mine.

I've owned all the oculus headsets and the Q3 is great.

indeed, if I really crank up the settings my PC, which is no slouch, can hardly keep up.
Sword of Damocles
Do not buy Oculus under any circumstances unless you want a ton of issues, its cheap for a reason, its trash.
Never tried anything other than quest 2 at a friends house and 3 at mine. They both work really well for the price but if you have a bit extra to spend I’ve heard the valve index is way better
the one they simply call "sunglasses" so you can go outside and enjoy your summer before winter's icy grip returns

There's not really any cheap ones.

The worst part is that they come out with new ones every few years. So, it's pretty much outdated the moment you buy it.

Plus, non-VR games can often take some computer-fu to get working.

It's a really expensive toy, and not really worth the cost.

ymmv but I use mine daily, well worth the cost to me.

I've had little issue getting non VR games modded, many are simple drag and drop files.

I get that VR isn't for everyone, but its definitely for me!
