EU and China still can’t get along
As the two biggest economic targets in Donald Trump’s trade war, some analysts thought the European Union and China could move closer together and stake out common ground.

But a summit between the two sides in Beijing on Thursday is instead expected to showcase the deep-seated frictions and mistrust that are widening a rift between the two heavyweights

But a list of grievances between the two sides are setting that goal out of reach.

The EU was far from shy about its concerns in the lead up to the summit. Officials in recent weeks have reiterated their long-standing concerns over what they say are inexpensive Chinese goods “flooding” European markets, raised alarms about Beijing’s move to squeeze the rare earths supply chain, and decried its ongoing backing for Russia as it wages war in Ukraine.

EU's grievances with China is what makes Trump's "negotiation tactics" so stupid. He could easily negotiate deals with the EU to stop or slow China down if he wanted, since neither EU or USA are happy with China's exports taking over.

To be honest, I'm glad that Trump is a terrible negotiatior.
1 kill xi
2 disband and lill the ccp
3 have taiwan unite china and democratise it.
- tibet occupation ended and genocide stoped
-ughur genocide stopped

Xi views Europe as a dumping ground for all its exports because with china, its always a one way street.

Well one thing i learned a short time a go is that not everyone can get along.

You can have two nice people who end up hating each other due to a misunderstanding.

Most people in the world can't get along (or just flat out don't want to)

Not really, he know the EU isn't independant from the USA and can't get away from them anyway. So pushing his luck isn't a bad tactic at all and it works, as the german chancelor recently recognised Trump was right about NATO and agreed EU countries should invest more in their armies.

No matter what you may think about Trump, I think he's a good negociator, with brutal methods, but efficient.
As long as China can undercut established marked through various methods, there will issues, particularly when a government subsidizes it business that no one can compete economically. There are a few methods to fight such manipulated markets, tariffs being a primary means. Really it would of been better if Europe and North America would of targeted China for manipulation the market for decades instead of what is currently happening, but it is what it is.
If china didn't support the fourth russian reich in their invasion efforts and would rather work on a solution to stop the warmonger tsar, the relations would be much better. My favorable opinion on china has taken a huge nose dive. I hope jinping is reading this.
