Why there is no World Champions league, like global version of UEFA Champions league
I always wonder, wouldnt it be fun?

There is lots of potentially very good clubs outside europe, but yet, when term "Football" came to mind, mostly european clubs coming to people's minds. Because other clubs are not advertised and marketed enough in media. Media mostly focuses on european football leagues.

I know there is world club cup but its not same, i mean like uefa champions league format, with group stages, Last 16's etc.

uefa stands for - union of european football associations, in other words it is only europe clubs.

Other countries and continents also have their leagues and championships. Maybe not as popular as europe leagues but there are a few. Example like my country soccer team did quite well in CAF (confederation of African football)
Didn't we just go thru the most recent Club World Cup that now follows the old UCL format? I remember that there were 32 clubs from across the world included in 8 different groups in this Club World Cup

It's not as weird as the Americans who have a "World Series" that only includes American teams.
