Have you ever seen, heard about, or read about this happening before? Moderators banning moderators? LOL!!!! Perhaps they were on a non-mod account, posting fresh, crispy lala-land stuff, and got GOT by a different mod. Or, perhaps a mod went too far and received the blessing end of the BAN SCHTICK by another mod. Ever seen it happen? Ever read or heard about it happening? EVER SMELT IT HAPPEN!?!

I would assume that moderators have equal permissions and can only be banned by Valve, not each other.

Moderators don't get banned.
They get fired.
Accounts are probably erased afterwards.

I used to play a Mafia browser game for a while on Facebook a long time ago. One of the best and funniest plays was a guy infiltrated a huge family he hated, got to Capo status, and then kicked everyone out of the family.

I use to play a game where moderators would get banned if they were being let go. The account would then have all their info wiped from it, password changed, and then be reused for the next mod. Making a new account was difficult because of the new system they switched to was finicky at the time.
