Do you think that Ozzy went to Heaven?
Ozzy Osbourne passed away recently. I think it was a few months ago. Anyway, do you think that Ozzy went to Heaven? He clearly lived a very Christian life and was probably a top candidate for the position.

From the start, Osbourne understood how to bring attention to his art. Calling his band Black Sabbath sent a clear message. He aimed to subvert, not honor, Christianity

Pretty sure the Mods of Heaven would ban him at the gates for that.

I thought about this for real. He obviously did not live an outward Christian life, but that does not mean he didn't convert before he died. I liked his music and thought he seemed a likeable guy and would like to meet him in heaven some day. Unlikely probably yes but you never know for sure.

I had the same thoughts about Tom Petty when he passed.

I was wondering what that ghost was doing at my table. Oh well, it picked up the bill, so, I pretty much gorged myself on at least 114 tacos within the span of like 27 seconds. I lost count after that.

Paul, first known as Saul, sought out and arrested and even killed Christians before he converted and even ended up writing multiple books of the new testament and was even granted a peak at heaven before he died due to his fierce loyalty to Jesus.

LOL, you dare compare to Apostle Paul and Ozzy Osbourne? Why are they even in the same sentence? Paul's conversion has nothing to do with Ozzy's death.
Sarcastic post for "The Prince of Darkness", but I'm bored enough to write a serious reply anyways.

First off, he was rich and famous. That is the first major red flag. The Bible says this about the rich and those held in high esteem:

"It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.” -Mark 10:25

"And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God." -Luke 16:15

Personally, he strikes me as a "Lord, lord" type. His wiki states that he mentioned being an Anglican church member back in 1992. That's all the evidence we have for his faith throughout his entire life, which was lived underneath the spotlight. Speaks for itself already. He lived like a practical atheist. But the Bible also states that many who profess to be believers will actually be condemned to hell. So how can we tell if he's genuine?

One clue is his stance on Israel. He politically supported modern-day Israel, which shows that he most likely had never read the Bible which makes it clear that Israel is in a state of spiritual darkness and unbelief, is displeasing to God, and is reserved for wrath in the "time of Jacob's trouble" (aka Great Tribulation). If he indeed hadn't read the Bible, then he didn't actually know Jesus or what Jesus expected of him. If he doesn't know Jesus, then this is what Jesus Himself said He will do:

"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." -Matthew 7: 21-23

Given these 3 major red flags, I'd say outside of an experience the Lord gave him that was strong enough to warrant a true deathbed conversion, it's unlikely Ozzy made it.

As far as I know, he wanted to scare the audience, so everything was really an act towards a specific aim. A lot of musicians are like that. They aren't what they seem, they are just acting out a role.

He stated on multiple occasions that he was a Christian and that he believed in God. Though the bulk of your comment is on point. Dude probably didn't make it.
